Admission Arrangements for K1 Classes in Kindergartens

 

The First Assemble of God Kindergarten was joined Kindergarten Education Scheme from Hong Kong Education Bureau. Children aged 3-6 years old withholding the “Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission” are welcome for applying for our school without any education fee are needed.  For more details, please check the leaflet from the Education Bureau:

  • Dates: Available and accepted year-round

  • Opening Hours:

    • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Application Procedures

  1. Interview Opportunity: All applicants will be granted an interview. Translation services are available for non-Chinese speaking children upon request. For inquiries, please call 2713 2395 or email info@faogkg.edu.hk.

  2. Submission Documents: Please complete the Application Form and submit it to our school along with the following documents. An interview for the child and parents will be scheduled in due course:

    • A copy of the child’s birth certificate

    • One recent passport-size photo (1.5 inches, front view)

    • Two stamped, self-addressed envelopes

    • Application fee: HK$40 (Cheque payable to “First Assembly of God Kindergarten”)

Registration Procedures

  • Successful Applicants: Parents/guardians must complete registration at our school during the Education Bureau (EDB) “Centralised Registration Dates” by presenting the electronic Registration Certificate (RC) / Admission Permit (AP) and paying the registration fee.

  • Waitlisted Applicants: Written notifications will be sent to parents/guardians. Please visit the school on the specified date to complete preliminary procedures. The school will contact parents for registration as soon as a vacant place becomes available.

  • Registration Fee: In accordance with EDB guidelines:

    • Half-day class: HK$970

    • Whole-day class: HK$1,570

      (Note: The registration fee will be fully refunded in September if the child attends our school.)

Important Note:

If parents decide to transfer their child to another school after registration, please notify us in writing. Our school will return the Registration Certificate (RC) / Admission Permit (AP) as soon as possible. Please note that the registration fee is non-refundable, and the child’s place will no longer be reserved.
